The 8th. "Audiovisual Patagonia, Patagonian short sample, non-competitive, is mainly aimed at establishing a meeting between the filmmakers and producers of Patagonia (Argentina and Chile) that have chosen our region to tell their stories. Secondly, we are committed to promoting the dissemination of Selected works for cultural purposes through different media.

1. Organizers:

2. Purpose:
The 8th. "Patagonia Audiovisual" is intended to disseminate audiovisual production of the Patagonian Region and contribute to the development of the film as a language, specific format and method of production. Provide the public with access Patagonian a significant part of production regional cinema and exchange among professionals.
3. Participation: all audiovisual works non-commercial, of any kind, they are acclimated or whose central theme is the Patagonia. They are also entitled to participation productions whose Director, Producer or Writer is originally from a Patagonian town. Each filmmaker may submit up to three productions, which have not been presented previously in this festival and are made after 1 January 2007.
4. Registration: short and medium length films will be received up to 30 minutes. Feature films will be sent subject to the decision of the selection committee, who by reason of holding an artistic, cultural or historical importance relevant to Patagonia, may be exposed in the Festival. Entries must be completed at the time of registration.
5. Registration Rules: The 8th. "Patagonia Audiovisual display up to 6 hours at a time of material in each of the venues, spread over 2 days 3 hours each. Those interested should submit the following items:
* 2 (two) digital version recorded in DVD PAL. * Registration Form - see attached form - completed and signed by the Director .* CV on paper and diskette or CD .* Minimum of 3 (three) digital photos (JPG extension, at least 200 dpi) or paper.

The works will be accepted until July 1, 2009, without fail. 6. Selection: The selection committee will work to sort them by categories and topics. The selection registered short films used as a criterion the technical skills and artistic film. 8. Proofs: All videos selected for the exhibition will receive a certificate of participation.
9. Participation: All participants selected to present at the Festival will be invited to present their works before the exhibition and, if desired, to discuss with the public and / or be part of talks and panel discussions on the experience of filming in Patagonia .
