At the last meeting I had with the Mayor and his team of Councillors, I unveiled a beautification plan has been approved for Soto del Henares, which, as you have seen and some neighbors have begun to run, I think it will stay a pretty good neighborhood.

RIPA. (Independent Filmmakers of Patagonia) is a group of filmmakers who decided to join forces together in the production, exhibition and dissemination of their works. From the increasing activity in the visual disciplines of our region in recent years, generated by students and local filmmakers, arises the necessity to join forces and criteria, the call to form an association called Filmmakers Independent Patagonia (RIPA.) that brings together all stakeholders to join the national movement of Audiovisual Arts.

RIPA. "Independent Filmmakers Patagonia, invites all filmmakers Patagonian the 9th. Film Meeting "Patagonia Audiovisual Cultural Mercosur Region

The 9th. "Audiovisual Patagonia, Patagonian short sample, non-competitive, is mainly aimed at establishing a meeting between the filmmakers and producers of Patagonia (Argentina and Chile) that have chosen our region to tell their stories. Secondly, we are committed to promote knowledge of the works selected for cultural purposes through different media.

Bases:
1. Organizers:
This year the organization will be responsible for RIPA. Patagonia-Independent Filmmakers, "our representative in Punta Arenas (Chile) Carlos Mansilla Ruiz, in conjunction with the University of Magallanes (Umag) and its representative Pedro Moreno. Will be held on 04 and September 5, 2010, in different locations in Patagonia Argentina and Chile. The headquarters confirmed this year are:

2. Purpose:
The 9th. "Patagonia Audiovisual" is intended to disseminate audiovisual production the Patagonian region and contribute to the development of the film as a language, specific format and method of production. Provide the public with access Patagonian a significant part of regional film production and exchange among professionals.

3. Participation: all audiovisual works non-commercial, of any kind, they are acclimated or whose central theme is the Patagonia. They are also entitled to participation productions whose Director, Producer or Writer is originally from a Patagonian town. Each filmmaker may submit up to three productions, not have been presented previously in this festival and are made after 1 January 2008.

4. Registration: short and medium length films will be received up to 30 minutes. The films that are sent are subject to the selection committee's decision, which by reason of holding an artistic, cultural or historical importance relevant to Patagonia, may be exposed in the Festival. Entries must be completed at the time of registration.

5. Registration Rules: The 9th. "Audiovisual Patagonia" exhibit a maximum of 6 hours material runs in each of the venues, spread over 2 days 3 hours each. Those interested should submit the following items:
* 2 (two) digital versions recorded on DVD.
* Registration Form - see attached form - completed and signed. Director
* CV on paper.
* Minimum of 3 (three) digital photos (JPG extension, at least 200 dpi) or paper.
* promotional graphic design. Not exclusive.
The works will be received until Thursday, July 15, 2010 , inevitably. Send to: Carlos Mansilla Ruiz, Postal Address: General del Canto N ° 341, Barrio Prat, Punta Arenas, Region Magallanes and Antártica Chilena REPUBLIC OF CHILE. Shipping charges are registration materials and responsibility borne by the participant. Registration is free and will be confirmed via e-mail after receiving all required items.

6. Selection: The selection committee will work to sort them by categories and topics. The selection of short films used as a criterion registered technical and artistic qualities of the films. There will be a selection from the works submitted for the sample of maximum 6 (six) hours, as screening will take place in major central wards in each locality between days 04 and September 5, 2010. Both the subject, gender and production format, is free.

7. Circulation: All submitted works will not be returned and will become part of the RIPA. Patagonia-Independent Filmmakers, "can only be used for cultural purposes, not commercial. Authors will be notified of the projections RIPA. do their jobs. The organization of the 9th. Audiovisual Patagonia may use images, photographs and artwork from the films, for disclosure of the same in all media.

8. Records: All videos selected for the exhibition will receive a certificate of participation.

9. Participation: All participants selected to present at the Festival will be invited to present their works before the exhibition and, if desired, to discuss with the public and / or
part of lectures and panel discussions on the experience of filming in Patagonia. To do this, interested parties should contact the organizers in advance requesting such participation to improve the organizational capacity of the projections.

10. Complete and sign the Application Form of the 9th. Patagonia Audiovisual links the participant to acceptance of these rules. Omitted cases will be solved by the organizing committee of the 9th. Audiovisual Patagonia.
